Projekt La
Rondine / Associazione Milaan
Als je bovenstaande foto bekijkt,
lijkt er aan de buitenkant niets aan
de hand te zijn. "Prachtige
opgroeiende kinderen", zul je als
eerste reactie wellicht zeggen.
Echter niets is minder waar. In het
kort komt het hierop neer, dat al
deze jonge opgroeiende kinderen nu
kampen met lichamelijke en
geestelijke problemen dit ten
gevolge van een verhoogde
radioactiviteit, opgelopen na de
ramp in Tsernobyl. Hierdoor worden
zij in hun groei belemmerd en is nog
maar sterk de vraag of zij uberhaupt
nog mogen denken aan het
verwezenlijken van hun
toekomstdromen.
Om hun zorgen wat te verlichten,
wordt via Stichting La Rondine aan
hen de mogelijkheid gegeven om
gedurende verschillende perioden van
het jaar te komen "snuffelen" aan al
wat voor hen goed is: een stukje
kunst &cultuur voor de verwondering,
het Toscaanse landschap met de zee
voor de zuivere luchten en ook het
Italiaanse eten,voornamelijk
gebaseerd op natuurlijke produkten
en bereid met olijfolie, zal hen
goed doen.
Gezien KINDEREN ONZE TOEKOMST VORMEN
en vaak intelligenter kunnen zijn
dan wij volwassenen, wil ik graag
als kunstenaar mijn
steentje hierin bijdragen en dit
projekt volmondig ondersteunen.

When one
looks at the above photo it seems as if
nothing is wrong.“Lovely growing
children”, would be ones first reaction.
In reality you could not be further from
the truth. In brief it turns out that
all these young children are afflicted
with physical and psychological problems
as a result of the high radioactivity
that followed the Tchernobyl disaster.
It caused developmental abnormalities
and there is a real question of whether
they can even think of achieving their
future dreams.
To alleviate their suffering the
organization ‘La Rondine’ was set up to
give them an opportunity, several times
a year, to experience something that is
good for them: the wonder of art and
culture, the clean fresh air of the
Tuscan countryside and seaside, and of
course to enjoy Italian cooking based on
natural products prepared in olive oil.
Seeing that children are our future and
have the potential to be far more
intelligent than we adults, I would like,
as an artist and humanist,
wholeheartedly to do my little bit to
support this project.

Guardando l'immagine di questi bambini
tutto sembra scorrere felice.
La realtà invece è diversa.
Questi piccoli, in seguito al disastro
dello scoppio della centrale nucleare di
Chernobyl, sono afflitti da problemi
legati all'alta radioattività, problemi
di natura fisiologica, psicologica,
strutturale e familiare.
Per alleviare le loro sofferenze e dare
nuova speranza ai loro piccoli grandi
sogni, l'associazione La Rondine a
Milano, li organizza in gruppi, tre
volte all'anno e li assegna a famiglie
italiane affinché possano fare
l'esperienza di respirare aria non
radioattiva, ricevere calore e
attenzioni e vedere il mare, che oltre a
essere fonte infinita di benessere , non
hanno mai visto.
Questi bambini sono il nostro futuro e
hanno tutto il potenziale per diventare
grandi e forti.
Io, come uomo e artista, sono felice di
dare il mio piccolo contributo a questo
progetto umanitario.

regardant l’image de ces enfants tout
semble très bien se dérouler.
Au contraire la réalité est différente.
Suite au désastre de l’explosion
nucléaire de Chernobyl, ces enfants
souffrent de problèmes liés à la haute
radioactivité, problèmes de nature
physiologique, structurale et
familliaire.
Pour soulager leurs souffrances et leurs
donner un nouvel espoir, l’Organisation
“La Rondine” di Milano, place trois fois
par an les enfants dans des familles
italiennes afin de leurs faire vivre une
autre expérience de vie: leurs donner la
possibilité de profiter d’un air pur au
bord de la mer où de la campagne, de
leur faire profiter des aliments
naturels, de recevoir un peu d’affection
et de bonheur.
Ces enfants sont notre future et ils ont
tout le potentiel pour devenir grands et
forts.
Come artiste, je suis heureux d’offrir
ma petite contribution à ce projet
humanitaire.
